Peace Officers

The Town's Community Peace Officers enforce the Town's local bylaws and provincial laws, with a focus on traffic control and public safety. They also work closely with the Blackfalds RCMP detachment to keep our community safe.

Various Municipal bylaws address common concerns including excessive noise, parking of vehicles and trailers, use of all-terrain vehicles, and unsightly premises are listed below (which can be found on the Bylaws & Policies page):

  • Animal Control Bylaw
  • Community Standards Bylaw
  • Fire Protection Bylaw
  • Land Use Bylaw
  • Smoking and Vaping Bylaw
  • Solid Waste Management Bylaw
  • Traffic Bylaw & Bylaw Amendment
  • Urban Hen Bylaw

Bylaws are enforced on a complaint and observance basis. Report your concerns by submitting a Complaint Form or contacting the Community Peace Officers.
